Description

This club is not exactly your typical fan club. This is the place where every fan of Edward Scissorhands can gather together to view and share fan artwork. Unlike most clubs, this one will not have contests. I have found them to be difficult to manage, and I simply don't have the time. EdwardScissorhands is for sharing your love for the film, not for popularity contests However, there will be monthly themes/ideas to help anyone who needs inspiration with their art. You can submit your art to be added to the collection galleries, and when you do that, we will leave a thoughtful comment on your work.

How to Join

I actually have just one art rule at the moment (subject to change):
1 - You must keep your comments and artwork to a PG-13 rating (because that is what the movie was rated! We will not accept sexually or graphically explicit artwork).

Now to join simply follow these steps:
1 - Add the club's icon to your journal entry, we must be able to see it when we recieve your note. This way you can help to spread word of the club! (Add it by typing : iconEdwardScissorhands : but without the spaces between the words and the colons.)

2 - Next, send us a note stating that you would like to join, and also stating your favorite character. This is just to make sure that these rules have been read ^^ We won't disqualify you because of who it is.

3 - The last step is to wait. We recommend adding the club to your watched list so that you will receive all updates (via journal entries). Your icon will be added to the members page as soon as we receive your note and see the icon in your journal.

How to Submit Artwork

This is important information for anyone joining! Please read the following, or else never wonder why your artwork doesn't make it in
1 - Your work must be a Deviation or Scrap on DeviantART.

2 - Send the club a note containing a link to your work. We will not browse through your gallery trying to find the piece you want to submit.

3 - Then wait. Your art will be added to the appropriate category as soon as we read your note and verify the art's content.
